Can a company change its name anytime?

Yes, subject to availability of the new name on the MCA portal (RUN form) and approval by shareholders via special resolution. The process typically takes 15–20 working days from filing to new certificate.

What is the time limit to file DIR-12 for resignation?

The company must file DIR-12 within 30 days of a director resignation. The resigning director can also file DIR-11 to put the resignation on record independently.
